Nutmeg is the brown oval fruit that is revealed when the red webbing known as Mase is removed. 

Mase is typically used in baking, in seasoning for savoury meat dishes, tea and as preservative

Nutmeg is commonly used to enhance the flavour of sweet and savoury meals and beverages. Nutmeg, is also known for its rich aroma and subtle sweet earthy taste. We recommend, freshly grating nutmeg when adding, to warm beverages.
